Restaurants in San Francisco - 2nd night

Before I get into the coverage of the Fancy Food Show, I really want to cover the other things that we did while in San Francisco. Today, we were at the food show all day. More of our staff was supposed to come in but the weather at home was snowy and all flights out of Pangborn airport were cancelled. We decided that we weren't overly hungry so we stopped into Lucca Deli at 2120 Chestnut Street, close to our hotel. The folks working at the deli were sooooo nice. They were working hard, trying to close but still were extremely nice and patient. They helped us with suggesting a sandwich (it was huge - perfect for splitting). We picked up some chips, a bottle of wine and ended up having a picnic in our hotel room. If you are in the Marina area of San Francisco, you really should check out this Italian deli.
